The banneton is great, easily washable, and makes a useful, long-loaf shape, which is what originally caught my eye. I also liked the cloth liner and it fits perfectly without much effort.

The handle on the whisk is really comfortable and well-proportioned. I had been using a spatula and was surprised at how much better the whisk stirred the sourdough stater and dough.

Edit: I use the bread whisk for mostly pancakes or very hydrated recipes now but it is still a great tool. Just do not machine wash the liner. It should only be hand washed. The rye bread recipe makes a is very dense dense bread! The packaging is very sturdy and if one is careful in cutting open the lid holding the whisk, scraper, lame and extra blades, it can be used to store all the items in the proofing basket keeping it covered and all items clean.

My only complaint was that the lame only had one safety cap, which prevents you from keeping a blade in both the curved and straight ends at the same time. I did contact the company via their website and was very quickly provided with a second safety cap.

So now I have blades in both ends of the lame safely capped. Overall I like my Breadsmart products. I am still getting the hang of the bread form. I will be ordering a different bread lame.
